Stations and Retrogrades
Submitted by signsofpotential on 15 December, 2010 - 04:00.Planets, of course, orbit the sun just like we learned in elementary school. Every planet has a regular orbital period depending on how far away it is from the sun. Astrologers aren’t arguing otherwise. However, since we’re here on earth, and astrology is about how planets and stars relate to earthly events, astrologers also use astronomical data from a geocentric (earth-centered) perspective. As we stand on the surface of the earth and look outward, the planets appear, from our view, to sometimes come to a stop, and then move backward.
Neptune Opposite Mars
Submitted by signsofpotential on 8 December, 2010 - 05:34.For pretty much the entirety of 2010, Neptune has been playing cat-and-mouse with my natal Mars. I have Mars in the 1st house near the end of Leo (26°) so I am on my third (and final, thank #@*&) pass of Neptune opposing it. February, and then the end of September through now have been exact– Neptune was “kind” enough to station precisely opposite at 26 Aquarius during the beginning of November, driving the whole experience home a little harder.
The Menorah in the Freezer
Submitted by signsofpotential on 1 December, 2010 - 06:35.El Pisces and I are finally sharing a single roof, in the same time zone even, and so we’ve begun merging our little households together. My apartment is a sea of boxes right now as we find places for all his earthly possessions, plus my things that had been in storage. So yesterday I was going about the box-sorting, when I heard him exclaim from the kitchen: …why is there a menorah in the freezer?

Pluto Stationary Retrograde April 2010
Submitted by Jamie Funk on 7 April, 2010 - 05:36.Pluto stations retrograde 07 April 2010 at 02:34 UT. The news has been full of catastrophic events this last few days. Earthquakes, mine explosions, and an upsurge in suicide bombings in Afghanistan, Iraq and Pakistan. Sounds like the influence of Uranus (explosive and unexpected) and Pluto (underground, global).
Saturn Conjunct Pluto for Everyone On The Planet Between 2006-2014 - A Heavy Karmic Time
Submitted by ciuboda on 26 February, 2010 - 11:32."oday we re-examine how Saturn conjuncts the Pluto of everyone on Earth between 2006 and 2014, no small event! The past several years have profoundly impacted those born between 1956 and 1970, and right now everyone born in the 1970s are under heavy pressure involving both Karma and Dharma for the rest of 2010 into 2011.
Feeling blueprints…transits theory
Submitted by ciuboda on 16 January, 2010 - 18:21."Actually, let’s talk for a minute about building a house. Let us say, for the sake of argument that you decide that you want to build your dream home. You probably have some vague ideas about how it will look, about the various features and styles of decor, about the layout.
Transits: Neptune in the 5th and 6th houses
Submitted by ciuboda on 12 January, 2010 - 11:17."Until today, I have not realised just what the influence of the planet Neptune implied or signified. Neptune takes a long time to travel through one sign, and therefore through one house. It has been in my natal 5th house since I was about 12 years old. About the same time that I fell for a blond Canadian girl in school, that I would not stop idealizing and thinking of as truly beautiful, even now, though I am not “in love with her” and haven´t really thought of her since I left school."
