Discussing the current Saturn/Neptune Quincunx - The mystic meets the sceptic

Pluto stations retrograde 07 April 2010 at 02:34 UT. The news has been full of catastrophic events this last few days. Earthquakes, mine explosions, and an upsurge in suicide bombings in Afghanistan, Iraq and Pakistan. Sounds like the influence of Uranus (explosive and unexpected) and Pluto (underground, global).

Aspects made by transit (moving) planets to natal planets are very important in prediction. Tracking your aspects is fairly simple but takes some time to record since there's 9 transit planets (you don't have to do the moon) and 10 natal planets (including the moon). Starting out, you need to only look for the "major" aspects: conjunction, sextile, square, trine, and opposition.

Planetary movement through the houses means when the transit (moving) planets enter a new house in your chart. There are 12 houses in a chart, and they each rule different things, and when a transit planet enters a house, it brings its energy to the areas of life that house rules, making the house more prominent in your life.

"I would hazard a guess though. The 12th house is like a swamp. Any planet that goes wondering off into this house gets its feet full of mud and dirty water. When a planet passes through there it gets tired very easily. In the swamp it is hard to move around, you´d be lucky to walk 100 meters in a day, and even if you did, it might actually be in the entirely wrong direction, or in a circle. Sometimes it´s a matter of realising that all you are doing is running around in circles, and that there is no point really in pursuing such futile objectives.
