Submitted by ciuboda on 1 October, 2010 - 07:49.'I believe my interest in astrology and occult subjects stems from my trines to Uranus. I think I will always have a life-long obsession with astrology. All I want to do is talk and feel excited about the cosmic design that is our astrology chart. I want to know what makes us tick? Why do events happen at certain times in my life? What is the purpose of my life?

Aspects
Submitted by ciuboda on 26 August, 2009 - 16:16."Astrologers generally allow 2°- 12° of "leeway" for aspects. This "leeway" is called an orb. So two planets within this orb are considered to be in aspect. Some astrologers allow bigger orbs and some naturally enough allow less. The closer to exact the aspect the stronger, when the orb is very wide the influence may be quite weak. Standard orbs are given for each aspect. The modern theory of aspects espouses that by dividing the 360° circle by two gives us the opposition.
Angle on Aspects
Submitted by ciuboda on 18 May, 2008 - 09:28."How the planets relate to each other is shown by the aspects they form. Angles between planets reflect attitudes and the energy patterns they have toward each other. They are like force fields that mark turns in consciousness. Aspects bring out facets, sides of the self and character traits"

What are aspects?

Facets of the diamond: the cycle of the aspects
Submitted by ciuboda on 17 May, 2008 - 23:09."The nature of life is such that we are enabled to circumambulate the quintessential core of truth of life (whatever that is!) by experiencing facets of it, strung out in a movie-like storyline. Life is itself a cycle passing through many stages – if we experienced childhood, youth, maturity and old age at the same time we would not only get confused, but would also miss the main gist of what living on a planet is all about!
PLANETS IN ASPECT
Submitted by ciuboda on 17 May, 2008 - 23:07."In astrology, an "aspect" is a geometric relationship between two planets. Aspects are important in analyzing a horoscope because they seem to make the two connected planets function together or be linked. The aspects considered here are just the major ones: the conjunction, sextile, square, trine and opposition."
The Sun Forming Aspects to the planets in the natal chart
Submitted by ciuboda on 17 May, 2008 - 22:57."Sun conjunct Moon This aspect suggests a joining of your emotional urges and your natural drive instincts. The temperament becomes more unilateral, unaffected by the wants and desires of others. You are satisfied with yourself and the goals you hope to realize. You won't adapt easily to changes in your life, unless you sense these changes are in your best interest. You stay clear of the business of others and expect the same from them. You are highly motivated to achieve your agenda, focusing well on objectives, and normally gaining successful results.
The Grand Trine
Submitted by ciuboda on 17 May, 2008 - 22:54."The Grand Trine is supposed to be “lucky.” The problem with “luck” is that people can blow it. If there are too many trines in a chart (it doesn’t matter if they are in a Grand Trine or not) there is usually be a tendency to take the easy way out, to let your life drift.
A T-Cross can get you moving. Grand Trines can also get you moving --- to bed.
