Economic Declines Globally as Jupiter and Saturn Opppose Each Other
Submitted by curtisswn on 14 May, 2010 - 06:34.Recent declines in stock markets in the US and Europe are coinciding with the larger patterns in the astrology of this year. As previously written about here and in my special report Mounting Challenges, 2010 looks to be a landmark year astrologically, which corroborates the story told in markets the world around.
Economic boom ahead
Submitted by ciuboda on 10 June, 2009 - 15:13."The depression of the 1930s ended with Jupiter in Virgo as well as the latest 2 recessions in 1991 & 2003. Jupiter was around early Scorpio when the major economic crisis of the 70s and early 80s was over. The longest depression in US history began after the crash 1873 and lasted 5.5 years until 1879 when Jupiter entered the sign Aquarius. Currently Jupiter is again in Aquarius, the ideal GDP bottom is with Jupiter in the 3rd third of Aquarius, which is right now (April/ May 2009).
Do you have what it takes to become a Dow Jones company?
Submitted by ciuboda on 12 May, 2009 - 13:34."If a chart for your first breath shows how you will or will not develop and live, then the first trade chart for a company ought to do the same. Let's see if it does, secure in the knowledge that we'll learn a lot even if it doesn't.
My StarTrax program gives me the birth charts of the companies that currently make up the DJIA. The plan is to examine them individually and in combination to see what we see. This means we can pick and choose, and usefully examine natal factors, transits, eclipses, new and full moons, and anything else that takes our fancy."
The great panic of 2008
Submitted by ciuboda on 2 January, 2009 - 18:12."The continuing financial crisis in the US financial sector led to yet another major panic in the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) with the -4.40% collapse on September 15, 2008. This was due to the bankruptcy of Lehman Brothers and the sale of Merrill Lynch to Bank of America. Deals for these moves were arranged on Sunday September 14, which had been called Black Sunday by several market commentators at the time (ref). However, this only proved to be a forerunner of even more severe panics on:
Deflation or inflation? Don’t let yourself be fooled!
Submitted by ciuboda on 2 January, 2009 - 17:49."It is fairly remarkable that apparently everyone and his brother including some former inflationists and Amanita subscribers are convinced that a large deflation is approaching. Sentiment analysis with the aid of Google Trends suggests that the crowd has recently started to google for "deflation" like a scalded cat (http://www.google.com/trends?q=deflation&ctab=0&geo=all&date=all&sort=0).
Does a Lunar Cycle Affect Market Averages?
Submitted by ciuboda on 2 January, 2009 - 17:45."This is an abridged version of a study that was conducted in 1994. The purpose of this paper is to derive a cycle relating the lunar cycle to an equity average. This cycle will then be evaluated for its profitability versus a buy-and-hold strategy. The results may be of interest to short-term traders with an interest in cyclic analysis. Those who seek a causative link might consider the following.
Using planetary aspects in the financial market
Submitted by ciuboda on 2 January, 2009 - 16:45."Wouldn't it be great if one could say with certainty that when a certain planet transits another planet the stock market will go up, or that the stock you just bought this morning will increase significantly in it's price per share by tomorrow? Why, we'd all be rich! Unfortunately there is always room for more than one interpretation of geocosmic energy and there is always risk involved in the financial markets.
