Eris
Planet Proserpina (2003 UB313)
Submitted by Bogdan on 7 May, 2009 - 00:24.Astrology has evaluated similarly to other fields of knowledge and after discovering in 2005 object 2003 UB313 (orbiting beyond Pluto's track) likewise after discovering Uranus, Neptune and Pluto previously binding order matching in XX century known planets with zodiac signs may turn out to be insufficient. Frankly speaking some astrologists have timidly associated the planetoids (with the biggest one Ceres) with Virgo.

New (Dwarf) Planets, Eris, Sedna, Centaurs & Kuiper Belt Objects
Submitted by ciuboda on 8 July, 2008 - 12:51." The International Astronomical Union reclassified our solar system and it's bodies. Pluto and Ceres now lead a grouping of "dwarf planets." Larger bodies similar to Pluto (minor planet 134340) in nature can be classified as Plutinos. More details to come and changes to be updated below. For now, consider Ceres, Pluto's companion, Charon, and the newcomer Eris, minor planet 136199 and formerly known as 2003 UB313, to be dwarf planets.

Submitted by ciuboda on 8 July, 2008 - 12:41."The solar system's newest planet, formerly known as 2003 UB313 or Xena, now has an official name, Eris, and the name is pronounced EE-ris. Named after the goddess of discord, Eris held true to her name, creating such controversy about her planetary presence that the veteran planet Pluto was demoted to dwarf planet status by astronomers as they grappled with naming the new planet.
