In the modern world, informed by the internet, these disasters seem to occur with vivid regularity. The recent 9.0 magnitude earthquake rocked the world and moved Japan's coast eight feet and shifted the Earth's axis by four inches!

Ceres and the Urge to Belong

'I became fascinated with Ceres back in 1995. I had already fallen for Chiron in my chart consultation work and wanted one more celestial body to dance through the zodiac with the eleven "planets" I was using. After devouring "Asteroid Goddesses" by Demetra George I wanted to add all four asteroids to every chart, but decided I only had room for one. A shaman casting too many bones might be prone to confusion. I wanted twelve celestial bodies to go with twelve signs and houses, to keep the sacred geometry in tact.

With Mars moving to Gemini, there will no other planet – except Moon – that will be placed on Taurus, Leo, Scorpio or Aquarius signs.

The aspect will take place in July-August 2013 and then from December 2013 to May 2014. In August 2013 Mars conjoins Jupiter in Cancer forming an opposition to Pluto. The feature of Mars is to activate and to accelerate. This planet transits through Libra from 7.12.2013 to 25.7.2014 and turns retrograde from March to May 2014. The Jupiter-Pluto opposition is not exclusively correlated with financial matters.
