Economic Declines Globally as Jupiter and Saturn Opppose Each Other

Recent declines in stock markets in the US and Europe are coinciding with the larger patterns in the astrology of this year.  As previously written about here and in my special report Mounting Challenges, 2010 looks to be a landmark year astrologically, which corroborates the story told in markets the world around.

Auto Insurance and Auto Accidents Predictions

Here we examine auto accident predictions from a Vedic astrology perspective looking for better indicators.

The Troubled U.S. Automobile Industry: Another Giant About to Fall

"With Saturn turning direct in 14° Virgo and holding a stationary conjunction to the General Motors Corporation progressed ruler, Jupiter, it has become increasingly clear that this once formidable auto manufacturer will not be able to restructure itself by the June 1st deadline imposed by the U.S. government and GM will have to enter into Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection."

Economic boom ahead

"The depression of the 1930s ended with Jupiter in Virgo as well as the latest 2 recessions in 1991 & 2003. Jupiter was around early Scorpio when the major economic crisis of the 70s and early 80s was over. The longest depression in US history began after the crash 1873 and lasted 5.5 years until 1879 when Jupiter entered the sign Aquarius. Currently Jupiter is again in Aquarius, the ideal GDP bottom is with Jupiter in the 3rd third of Aquarius, which is right now (April/ May 2009).

Do you have what it takes to become a Dow Jones company?

"If a chart for your first breath shows how you will or will not develop and live, then the first trade chart for a company ought to do the same. Let's see if it does, secure in the knowledge that we'll learn a lot even if it doesn't.
My StarTrax program gives me the birth charts of the companies that currently make up the DJIA. The plan is to examine them individually and in combination to see what we see. This means we can pick and choose, and usefully examine natal factors, transits, eclipses, new and full moons, and anything else that takes our fancy."

The Real Estate cycle

"The price of real estate tends to move in an 18-to-20-year cycle. From one top to the next bottom, as from one bottom to the next top, about 9 or 10 years usually elapses. The Moon’s Nodes move backwards or retrograde in an average 18.6-year cycle around the Zodiac. Most real estate price tops have occurred with the North Node in Taurus and/or moving into late Aries.

Pluto in Capricorn, the Bad even worse, and redemption

MAJOR GEOCOSMIC SIGNATURES OF 2009-2010: SATURN REALITIES, JUPITER AND NEPTUNE HOPES

"As prominent as Pluto in Capricorn is as the center of the Cardinal Climax involving Saturn and Uranus, so too is Saturn important as the one planet making an exact opposition to Uranus and square to Pluto in 2009-2010. Saturn is not only strong because it alone makes these exact hard aspects to the other two planets over the next two years, but also because it rules Capricorn, and thus disposes Pluto. Therefore an understanding of the dynamics of Saturn is necessary in order to get an accurate picture of what lies ahead for the world, both politically and economically, in 2009-2010.

Moon-Neptune occultation meltdown cycle

"While working with Eclipses (Solar and Lunar) and occultations (the moments when the Sun's or the Moon's visible disk covers some other planet), we should remember always that these phenomena are observed in some specific areas of the Earth.
The occultation is another interesting astronomical phenomenon. It occurs when the Sun or the Moon covers some other planet as observed from the Earth's surface. As with Eclipses, we can observe these phenomena from some particular places on the Earth. Thus we can calculate the occultation path"

The great panic of 2008

"The continuing financial crisis in the US financial sector led to yet another major panic in the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) with the -4.40%  collapse on September 15, 2008. This was due to the bankruptcy of Lehman Brothers and the sale of Merrill Lynch to Bank of America. Deals for these moves were arranged on Sunday September 14, which had been called Black Sunday by several market commentators at the time (ref). However, this only proved to be a forerunner of even more severe panics on:
