A Titan of astrological education has fallen. As announced on Monday in the Horoscopic Astrology Blog, “Kepler College Cancels Current Term, School Closing”. Three days before this announcement, I posted a blog titled The Evolution of Astrology, in which I predicted hard times ahead for traditonal forms of astrology based on them being represented by Saturn:

This year, as Jupiter and Neptune again conjoin with Chiron for the first time in 64 years, Congress is deliberating as to whether it should repeal this law and remove the federal anti-trust exemption that health insurance companies presently enjoy."

The workings of the universe is probably the most important, yet also the most ignored, topic. There have been various philosophies and explanations for the same in ancient scriptures of various civilisations. One of the most significant being the Chinese philosophy on the natural phenomenon of the universe, or the Tao, as mentioned in I Ching (the foundation of Chinese philosophy also known as the Book of Changes). The book explains the metaphysical workings of the entire universe and is the origin of what is called the Yin-Yang school of Chinese thought.

"If there is a symbol of retrograde Mercury’s influence on the Obama presidency, it is his appointment of Nancy Killefer as Whitehouse Chief Performance Officer. Yep, the federal office of the Bean Counter. Mind you, if ever the Whitehouse was in need of such a position, it is now!!

Retrograde Mercury’s signature is “attention to detail” and, being a few arc-minutes form the Sun, the president’s focus for this term, like it or not, will be attention to every detail of government."

"As of September 2008, the U.S. and world banking system has officially entered a state of crisis. This economic and banking crisis will likely bring about the end of an era, and lead to an immense transformation of not just the banking and financial community, but almost every aspect of the human experience (political, social, cultural, etc).

"This 29-year ingress lasts from September 2, 2007 through October 29, 2009. It returns again April 7-July 21, 2010. As Saturn trines Pluto through May 2008, the empire strikes. That means that the big businesses negotiate deals that give the appearance of cooperation between the working force, or middle class, and the leaders of business, industry, and government.

"Red China has vowed to take back the Republic of China, or Taiwan. In the May 2004 issue of the Boom, Doom, and Gloom Report, Dr. Marc Faber (website-boomdoomgloom.com) points to a report by Wendell Minnick, the Taiwan correspondent for Jane’s Defense Weekly. Mr. Minnick, in "The Year to Fear for Taiwan: 2006", wrote that a mainland invasion is unlikely to be a large-scale operation. Instead, it is more probable to take the following course. Special forces will land days prior to the attack.
