Pioneering a Revolution - Uranus' Aries Ingress
Submitted by ciuboda on 5 July, 2011 - 10:22.'Natural disasters happen all the time. They are an expression of nature just like rain, hail and snow. But when the natural weather stirs itself to extremes and we are caught in a devastating wave of successive natural disasters, people die and it leaves us both reflective and compassionate. In the modern world, informed by the internet, these disasters seem to occur with vivid regularity. The recent 9.0 magnitude earthquake rocked the world and moved Japan's coast eight feet and shifted the Earth's axis by four inches!
Uranus the Awakener
Submitted by ciuboda on 8 March, 2011 - 08:52.'This week’s overarching theme is the movement of Uranus into Aries. There are phenomenal acts of bravery on world stage (1), but I am going to focus in this blog on being true to one aspect of Aries, that is, by keeping it simple and personal.
Richard Tarnas first made the association between the planet Uranus and the Titan, Prometheus, in his book, Prometheus the Awakener (1995). (2)
Moon trine Uranus: At home with Astrology
Submitted by ciuboda on 1 October, 2010 - 07:49.'I believe my interest in astrology and occult subjects stems from my trines to Uranus. I think I will always have a life-long obsession with astrology. All I want to do is talk and feel excited about the cosmic design that is our astrology chart. I want to know what makes us tick? Why do events happen at certain times in my life? What is the purpose of my life?
Trans-Saturn planets - the initiates of success
Submitted by ciuboda on 16 September, 2009 - 10:12.'Many contemporary astrologers today mostly agree with the concept that the outer planets affect them in both their birth chart and by transits to sensitive points in the birth chart. However, it is my opinion that this cannot be so. The reason behind my thinking is quite simple. Who among the many readers of this page can readily fly an airliner? Or control a multinational organization? Successfully lead an army of soldiers into battle? The point is these feats are possible but unless you have had the training and experience the probability of simply doing so is beyond your reach.'
Uranus transits
Submitted by ciuboda on 21 November, 2008 - 12:05."Uranus takes approximately 84 years to come full circle. This slow-moving planet's transits are long-lasting, and each transit takes its time to unfold. As Uranus transits a point in our chart, retrogrades back over it, and then hits it again in direct motion, it imparts its own special wisdom upon the point in question—the areas of lives and parts of our psyches ruled by that point.
Astrological Influences of the Planet Uranus: Revolutionary or Reactionary?
Submitted by ciuboda on 21 November, 2008 - 12:05."Although Uranus is known as the planetary energy of change and revolution, this same energy is what provokes the reactionary, or fundamentalist energy we see in those fanatics who have no tolerance for change whatsoever.
Many of us have seen human examples of this, the stiff, cold Aquarian individual who is about as pro-'establishment' as you'd ever want to see. Aquarius is the sign ruled by Uranus and as such gives us the living awareness of how this energy manifests.
Uranus God of the Sky
Submitted by ciuboda on 21 November, 2008 - 12:02."Uranus, God of the sky and the heavens, is the ruler of Aquarius. In Astrology, the energies of Uranus are electric and crammed with change. Uranus is forward-looking. It balks at tradition, and celebrates originality and individuality. Uranus is associated with technology, innovation, discovery, and all that is progressive."
Uranus aspects
Submitted by ciuboda on 21 November, 2008 - 12:01."Uranus can make other planets function crazily. It can make them seem hyper. Whatever Uranus touches will not function in socially acceptable "normal" ways.
Uranus Aspecting the Sun: Gives independence and the desire to do things "differently". When positive, brilliance to the point of genius. When negative, it can make you an eccentric who delights in shocking people, or just plain crazy."
Uranus in the Twelve Houses
Submitted by ciuboda on 21 November, 2008 - 12:00."Uranus shows that area of the life in which strong urges for individuality and freedom of expression are shown. In this house you should expect sudden and unexpected changes to occur during your life. Uranus brings radical behavior caused by your actions, the action of others, or by circumstances over which you have no control. "
Uranus
Submitted by ciuboda on 21 November, 2008 - 11:59."The outer planets, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto don't tell as much about individual personalities as they do about the "mini-generation" of people all born under the same Uranus sign. For this reason, I have not focused on the sign placement of these planet in considering natal personalities and traits"
