Saturn in Libra – 30th October 2009 till 6th October 2012
Submitted by ciuboda on 27 January, 2010 - 11:20."Saturn’s role in the family of planetary forces of our solar system is pivotal to say the least, because as every system needs different components to create a ‘balanced whole’ Saturn’s job is to ‘father’ the system, to provide the authority and structure that holds ‘anything’ together and from which we can build new foundations.
Saturn - feared or reverd?
Submitted by ciuboda on 3 December, 2009 - 15:23."How do we experience the lessons of Saturn when it’s transits are felt in our Chart? If its reputation has gone on ahead, do we fear it because at heart most of us would like a quiet life, left alone to potter about and muddle our way through hoping we’re going in the right direction. Perhaps we’d rather not know when it comes to the tough stuff of learning lessons. We really don’t want to struggle with concepts which seem to threaten our stability and seem to grind us underfoot in order to grow and mature."

Saturn will make a brief visit to Virgo again this coming Spring from April 7, until July 2010, after which Saturn will stay in Libra until October 4, 2012, and then it will enter Scorpio."
Saturn in Libra 2009-2012
Submitted by ciuboda on 20 October, 2009 - 17:07."Saturn will be entering the sign of Libra on October 29, leaving the sign of Virgo where it has spent the last two years and some months challenging all of our conventional ideas about health and healing and ensuring that we embrace the Virgoan virtues of modesty, thrift and caution.
Libra is the sign of relationships and balance between two polarities. In Libra we understand the yin and the yang, the plus and the minus, the inner and the outer, and recognize that both ends of the polarities are valid."
Transits: Saturn in Libra 2009-2010

Planets that are placed in Libra will be given nothing but support from a Saturn in its happiest and even most powerful state. Saturn has in fact got more essential dignities in Libra than he has in his own signs of Aquarius and Capricorn. The idea of an exaltation is that the planet is increasing in strength and power.

Virgo is very analytical and in Astrology what is known as a Mutable sign, which is the energy as we end one season and begin another. Mutable kind of likes to go with the flow and not make waves normally. We have had so many options this last 2 and ½ years , and at times been confused as to what steps to take with so much energy in signs which truly do not push us to take action.
Saturn’s Transit thru Libra

What does that mean for you personally? This will become a matter of interpretation and your best source is a good Astrologer. Let me explain more specifically. First, Saturn will be entering Libra on October 30th, 2009. If you are a Libra, many challenges and new obligations will be put before you. Your acceptance of these challenges is revealed by your natal Sun and aspects. For all intents and purposes, the vib

Saturn is to do with authority, and Libra is to do with both sides of a question and with fairness, it is a political sign. And what I was encountering was like a re-visit of the protesting spirit of the 1960s, in all its mixedness. We are just entering the opening square of the Uranus-Pluto cycle that began in the 1960s, and which embodied the spirit of those times.

So in Libra it is possible for Saturn to actually hold as much essential dignity as in his signs of rulership Capricorn and Aquarius. In Libra then, Saturn is at home, he is not given the authority or responsibility that is given in his own signs, but he is given all of the fine things, ease and happiness that it is possible for that benific Venus to give."
