'Jupiter, the 5th planet from the Sun, is about to enter the constellation of Aries. This will have an impact on all of us depending on where Aries takes place in your personal chart. Jupiter has a 12 year cycle, give or take a year. It first entered Aries on June 6th, 2010 but quickly went retrograde on July 23, 2010 to finish up some matters left in Pisces and to give you a glimpse of what is coming. Jupiter will be entering Aries on Jan.
"Jupiter takes approximately 12 years to come full circle. Therefore, every 3 years or so, Jupiter will transit conjunct, square, or opposite a natal point. When that natal point is an intensely personal planet or point (such as the Sun, Moon, Ascendant, Mercury, Venus, or Mars), we feel its effects in a similarly personal way.

"Jupiter, the King of the Gods, is the ruler of Sagittarius. In Astrology, Jupiter is a planet of plenty. It is tolerant and expansive. The first of the social planets, Jupiter seeks insight through knowledge. Some of this planet's keywords include morality, gratitude, hope, honor, and the law. Jupiter is a planet of broader purpose, reach, and possibility."
"Jupiter or Zeus is the Chief of the Gods, god of thunder, god of storms, god of the Sky -- god of the heavens, in every sense of the word. Zeus commands lightning. He possesses great wisdom. For food, Zeus consumes nectar and ambrosia [sweet spiritual substance], which reinforce immortality. The abode of Zeus is Mt. Olympus, the highest mountain in Greece, symbolic of heaven, or some "high place" where earth and heaven intersect."
"Jupiter is the planet of luck and expansion. This is the planet that can make things fall into your lap. But since it is the planet of expansion, it can also make you put on more weight.
Jupiter Aspecting the Sun: Has the reputation for being the original "good-time-Charlie" but this is not always the case. John D. Rockefeller Sr. had the square between these two. In his case, it simply increased the desire for more, more, more."
"In 2007 for almost the entire year we will be under the influence of the Jupiter-Uranus square aspect. In order to fully understand the influence and the importance of this aspect I think that we should analyze the entire Jupiter-Saturn cycle. This year square if the last square of the cycle before the beginning of a new cycle in 2010 which will mark also the ending of the current cycle started on 16 February 1997 at 2:13am GMT time."
"Jupiter is the planet of expansion and abundance. The house placement of Jupiter shows the area in which you are likely to think positively and optimistically. In a general sense, things work well for you in the house that Jupiter occupies. Nonetheless, there can sometimes be too much of a good thing in this house."
"Jupiter conjunct Uranus
The conjunction of Jupiter with Uranus produces a good deal of restlessness in your nature. You dislike restrictions and like to be the one in charge. You are an organizer, a planner and a doer, and you do especially well when assigned to handle a big project. Your plans have a solid touch of idealism attached. Your basically very lucky, and you usually get full credit for what you do. Sudden and unexpected gains are frequently a product of this aspect."
