New Moon in Aquarius February 2, 2011 Astrology
Submitted by ciuboda on 27 January, 2011 - 08:33.' The New Moon on February 2nd at 13 degrees of “liberating” Aquarius (9:31 pm EST) is more powerful than the norm because it conjoins “initiator” Mars, ruler of the aggressive urge. This could propel us into more of a “manic” phase or launch at warp speed. A “do, do, do” mode. Mars represents the physical energy in the body. Remember, too, that expansive Jupiter is in Mars-ruled Aries which can also raise up our activity level and get us wanting to conquer new frontiers. Aries is very pioneering and does not want to be restrained.
Balsamic Moon: Give It A Rest
Submitted by signsofpotential on 30 November, 2010 - 05:54.Right now we’re in the balsamic phase of the moon- the last couple days before the moon goes totally dark. This is the final phase of the moon cycle. If you’ve studied astronomy, you may already know of this phase as the waning crescent. As the light of the moon grows darker and finally fades out entirely, we become acclimated to darkness. There is a sense of mystery, of seclusion, even karmic connection right now. Mysteries become more compelling when it is dark. We become more concerned with unfinished business.
On the Ascendant: Moon Rising
Submitted by signsofpotential on 30 November, 2010 - 05:35.Contradictions- that’s what this aspect is all about. The moon conjunct ascendant is a sign of emotional tension in a person; longing to be close to people, but keeping them at arm’s length out of fear. Distant and reserved on the surface, but burning to be social and feel included in life. People with the moon on the ascendant wear their heart on their sleeve and yet will hold back from any emotional demonstrations until they really sense the other person feels the same way (whether in romance, friendship, or simply mutual admiration).
The Out of Bounds Moon
Submitted by ciuboda on 17 November, 2010 - 23:32.'The familiar circle of twelve signs is a useful fiction. Like time, space, gender and money, it helps us organize our particular, parochial sense of reality. We watch our transits or progressions as they speed or plod along this imaginary line in the sky that we call the ecliptic, as if it were a narrow highway with hard curbs in the vastness of starry space. In our ephemerides, for example, we see Mercury zipping merrily along, 1E g, then 2Eg then 3Eg.
Moon trine Uranus: At home with Astrology
Submitted by ciuboda on 1 October, 2010 - 07:49.'I believe my interest in astrology and occult subjects stems from my trines to Uranus. I think I will always have a life-long obsession with astrology. All I want to do is talk and feel excited about the cosmic design that is our astrology chart. I want to know what makes us tick? Why do events happen at certain times in my life? What is the purpose of my life?
Moon in Aquarius
Submitted by ciuboda on 30 July, 2010 - 20:09.'With Moon in Aquarius you need to be free of negative emotions such as greed, fear, anger and Jealousy. Emotions which might be deemed selfish and demanding are usually controlled or unacknowledged. Aquarian principles are concerned with social issues, ethical standards and equality. This means that you are far more concerned about matters that pertain to mankind rather than one individual. Emotionally you are tinged with futuristic qualities and instinctively know about social trends before they appear. You are nourished by ideas and patterns at work.'
Accessing Lunar Cycles
Submitted by ciuboda on 25 May, 2009 - 10:10."As a child, lying in the back seat of my family's car as we drove by night, I would watch the illusion of the Moon flying along behind the telegraph poles, the wires, and the trees. Because of my perspective, it seemed as if the Moon was the fastest flying object that I had ever seen in my life. The image was so powerful, and I had spent so long looking at it from inside the car, that lying in bed, my eyes closed, I could still see it speeding across the sky. Even now, decades later, I am surprised as I look at the night sky that the Moon is so still.
Moon square Ceres - need more time to adapt
Submitted by ciuboda on 13 March, 2009 - 16:47."Some years ago I start working with Ceres and integrated within the analysis done for my clients. Following the link between Ceres and Moon helped me understand better some of the emotional patterns and behaviours.
Right now I would like to focus on Moon square Ceres within natal chart."
Personal Lunar Cycles
Submitted by ciuboda on 2 January, 2009 - 17:02."There is nothing more primal than the basic rhythm of ebb and flow. We constantly live with the dualities of empty/full, inner/outer, give/take. These rocking rhythms are linked with heartbeat, breath, life, and death. As a holistic nurse astrologer, the intention of my work is to help people find the point of cohesion, where inner is one with outer, where sky is one with earth. The instrument of my work is natural cycles - primarily the cycles of the Moon. The Moon mirrors duality: New Moon to Full, Full to Dark of Moon, then dissolution and the beginning of another cycle.
