"I’ve been thinking about a big, warm welcome to Jupiter and Uranus who are about to enter Aries. We, of course, have had transiting Pluto, followed by Saturn, on the cardinal axis (from 0º Capricorn and Libra, respectively) since 2008.

Although the world picture is compelling now, I’m imagining herein how these factors are playing out in the personal sphere, in the realms where most of us most directly participate."

The problem regarding the starting point of the zodiac is as old as the zodiac itself. It was not only Ptolemy  who pointed out the relativity of this rule, but also the astrologers before and after his time.

" Aries enjoys new challenges. Challenge feeds its life force and sparks it's reason for living. Aries is a kind of pioneer. They often act without stopping to consider the consequences of their actions and so they are quite impulsive. Aries will display a quick and enthusiastic interest in new projects but, tends to fizzle when the newness begins to wear off.

"Ah, spring! The Sun’s radiance energizes the air and ground, coaxing crocuses and daffodils to burst brightly. Lithe baby animals frolic and skitter everywhere. Glorious spring, when our hearts turn light, shedding winter’s heavy cloak, rushing into new activity and brushing away the past.

"As the Sun moves into Aries, its daily path crosses the equator and begins to move into the northern hemisphere. For most inhabited regions of the world this is the beginning of spring; the days become longer than the nights, and plants and animals burst into activity.
