"I have tried to create a brief classification of people’s predominant modes of activity, according to their solar and lunar element, as the Sun and the Moon are two of the most important single factors in a horoscope. The idea came to be in a flash, and although it certainly has its weaknesses, it seemed original enough for me to write it down and give it some thought. So here it goes:
As a general rule we will say that the Sun represents a powerful conscious drive. The main drive of the Sun when placed in a fiery sign is to act according to what is wanted or needed in the moment; when placed in a water sign, the main drive is to feel and perceive; the main drive of the Sun in an air sign is to analyze and communicate; and the earthy Sun’s drive is to work to turn anything wanted into reality."

  • About traditional 7 virtues and planets -

"One of the most famous and interesting subjects of Medieval art and astrological discussion was the thread of cardinal and theological virtues.

The word “virtue” comes from the Latin “vir“, i.e. man. Still in Latin culture the word did not indicate just masculine gender, but a moral code, an unwritten law more important than the written one.

I see somebody found this subject a little confusing, so I want to give some details about it."

  • Symbolism for the Planets -

"Venus symbolizes attraction of all kinds, infatuation, desire, attachment, and emotional needs. Venus has dominion over intimacy and sexual energy and desire in the woman; it also signifies sex appeal, beauty, grace, fashion and being fashionable, socializing and sociability, partnerships and the act of unification (weddings), but not the marriage itself. Venus has dominion over combining and coordinating different things, including parts of the body, countries, companies, ideas, and any two things whatsoever.

  • Lost – Found (The Early Rules of Horary Astrology on Missing and Stolen Objects) -

A horary chart for this kind of question can be constructed both for the moment we discover that an object is missing and for the time when an astrologer hears or reads the question posed to him. The simplest way to predicting whether the missing or stolen object will be found or retrieved is by delineating the luminaries. If in the chart of a question or an event the Moon in a nocturnal or the Sun in a diurnal chart closely aspect their rulers the object will be returned to its owner.

  • Lunar and Solar Personality Types (The Part of Fortune and Its Meaning) -

The lunar type of personality is easily recognized even without knowledge of astrology. He is oversensitive regarding to its surroundings, very restless and longs for changes. He is extrovert and dependant upon the opinion of other people, the impression he leaves is very important for him, searches for attention, travels often and changes his personal style, prone to follow trends and depends upon them, pliable, often spends more than he has. His relationship are usually “promising”, he enters them with great enthusiasm and expectations, but they rarely last long.

  • The Rising Lens -

So often in consultation with clients, I have found that the ruler of the Ascendant — its sign, house and condition — highlights an important storyline, an important thread that weaves its way throughout life development. Many times it allows the astrologer within minutes (if not seconds) to get right to the crux of the matter, to the heart of a very relevant theme within a client’s identity development.
