Midpoints in Astrology
"Midpoints are the halfway point between two points. When astrologers talk about the Sun/Moon midpoint, for example, they are referring to the point halfway between the Sun and the Moon. To illustrate with a simple example, if the Sun is at 10 degrees Aries and the Moon is at 20 degrees Aries, the Sun/Moon midpoint is 15 degrees Aries."

- Comparing Two Horoscopes With Synastry -
"The only thing synastry can do is indicate some points of attraction and repulsion, areas where the two people can work together or tend to clash, places where the two of you can get along easily or need to work things out. Now this is important, but it won’t tell you if the two people will stay together or even get together. It also won’t tell you how the relationship affects each person individually. Please keep that in mind as you read through the following lessons which list the inter-horoscope aspects."
- The Point Of Passion -
"One of the problems with using midpoints in a chart is there are so many of them, at least 72 just for the basics. And, when you’re doing synastry, there are twice as many to look at, literally cluttering the skyscape. What are the first ones to look at, the most important branches of the tree to inspect before getting lost in the leaves and twigs?"
