These alignments have historically been described as “Grand Conjunctions” or “Royal Conjunctions.” World leaders elected as presidents or prime ministers during this cycle often have exact conjunctions between their nativities and the degrees of the planets or angles found in these once-every-two-decades mundane horoscopes."

  • December 2012 Yod Configuration -

    "21st of December 2012… the date when all things will change. Hmm.. at least this is the story sold today. This post is not to discuss about the importance of this event but to analyze some astrological facts related to.

    On December 2012 a Yod configuration (Finger of God) will be formed having Jupiter as focal point and Saturn and Pluto as supporting planets. An Yod is a configuration where two planets are 150 degrees apart from a third one and between them there are 60 degrees.

  • The Sun and heliacal phases of the planets -

    "This moment of the year is the feast of Light and astrology in itself is the science of the Light,  which comes to us by the Sun. Everything on the earth, starting from the switching between day and night, seasons, years derives from the Sun.

    Planets have not light, it derives from the Sun, so every planetary effect eventually depends on the position of the planet in respect with the Sun, and the same  its light and speed.

    Often referred to as the Fall of the Berlin Wall, its 20th anniversary was celebrated this week. It seemed to me that such a momentous event - often associated with the end of Communism - must be connected to the Jupiter-Saturn conjunction.
