2009 Predictions

2009 brings important changes to everyone's lives the only difference is when!  Some of you may experience the influences and challenges in the first few months of 2009; others will experience the challenges and life altering events in the last few months of 2009!  Reaching out and helping those going through the challenges first may get you some consideration and compassion when you are going through similar challenges later on. What will you do? These are times when showing criticism or compassion will be tallied and stored on a score card for later use! We all want to be on the right side of things and in line to take advantage of good occurrences and happenings and there will be many in 2009.  Jupiter in Aquarius along with Chiron and Neptune suggests unexpected surprises and gains are possible if you listen to your hunches and inner voice.  How intuitive are you?  Well there will be plenty of opportunities for you to find out in 2009.  Each one of you could have a déjà vu experience worth remembering.  Love and Soulmates combine this year into healing reconnections from the past. Is there love in your stars?
As 2009 begins, Jupiter enters Aquarius, on January 5th 2009 and on January 26, 2009 Annular Eclipse of the Sun occurs at 6* Aquarius.  This eclipse is visible from the South Atlantic and Indian Oceans, Borneo, the East Indies, and the eastern Pacific. Excitement over change could be in the air against the backdrop of our own malaise, and personal discontentment.  In Aquarius we find like minded leadership, and the mood in 2009 is "Yes we can!"  Perhaps we will get another motivating speech as Barack Obama takes office. Followed by the Lunar Eclipse in Leo. Since the newly elected president Barack Obama was elected when Saturn was at 19* Virgo, he's going to have to try to do the impossible and keep his promises or he will come under severe criticism when Saturn resumes direct motion. Since the Israeli war with the Palestinians began just before Saturn's retrograde this suggests it will continue through January and then again when Saturn approaches 21* Virgo again near the eclipses in August

  • The Jupiter–Saturn Cycle: 2010–2011 Opposition and Global Changes -

"Every 20 years, Jupiter and Saturn conjoin in the heavens and mark the beginning of a new cultural, political, and economic era. These alignments have historically been described as “Grand Conjunctions” or “Royal Conjunctions.” World leaders elected as presidents or prime ministers during this cycle often have exact conjunctions between their nativities and the degrees of the planets or angles found in these once-every-two-decades mundane horoscopes."

  • December 2012 Yod Configuration -

"21st of December 2012… the date when all things will change. Hmm.. at least this is the story sold today. This post is not to discuss about the importance of this event but to analyze some astrological facts related to.

On December 2012 a Yod configuration (Finger of God) will be formed having Jupiter as focal point and Saturn and Pluto as supporting planets. An Yod is a configuration where two planets are 150 degrees apart from a third one and between them there are 60 degrees.

  • The Sun and heliacal phases of the planets -

"This moment of the year is the feast of Light and astrology in itself is the science of the Light,  which comes to us by the Sun. Everything on the earth, starting from the switching between day and night, seasons, years derives from the Sun.

Planets have not light, it derives from the Sun, so every planetary effect eventually depends on the position of the planet in respect with the Sun, and the same  its light and speed.

  • The Berlin Wall -

Often referred to as the Fall of the Berlin Wall, its 20th anniversary was celebrated this week. It seemed to me that such a momentous event - often associated with the end of Communism - must be connected to the Jupiter-Saturn conjunction. It is this cycle which corresponds to and warns of great changes in mundane affairs.

  • About traditional 7 virtues and planets -

"One of the most famous and interesting subjects of Medieval art and astrological discussion was the thread of cardinal and theological virtues.

The word “virtue” comes from the Latin “vir“, i.e. man. Still in Latin culture the word did not indicate just masculine gender, but a moral code, an unwritten law more important than the written one.

I see somebody found this subject a little confusing, so I want to give some details about it."
