Heinous Hybrids—Why the Quincunx is No Minor Aspect
Submitted by ciuboda on 14 April, 2011 - 05:56.'The quincunx—also known as the inconjunct—is a 150° angle formed by planets five signs apart with orbs of up to 3°. Whether in the birth chart or by transit, making the two planets in a quincunx work together can be demanding—even a stretch. Charles Jayne said that in this aspect, people are asked to reconcile the irreconcilable, and thus the quincunx requires a creative leap to blend the two sets of needs and traits.'

Uranus in the 4th: Here Comes the Moving Van... Again
Submitted by signsofpotential on 1 December, 2010 - 07:06.I have almost no water in my chart, but I have a Uranus-Lilith-Venus conjunction (along with Juno and Vesta, for you asteroid junkies out there) in my fourth house. The fourth house is, among a few other things, all about your home, how you feel about it, and how you tend to behave there. Uranus in the fourth often brings unusual taste in furnishings, a love of home electronics or gadgetry, and can represent frequent moves in early life. For me?
On the Ascendant: Moon Rising
Submitted by signsofpotential on 30 November, 2010 - 05:35.Contradictions- that’s what this aspect is all about. The moon conjunct ascendant is a sign of emotional tension in a person; longing to be close to people, but keeping them at arm’s length out of fear. Distant and reserved on the surface, but burning to be social and feel included in life. People with the moon on the ascendant wear their heart on their sleeve and yet will hold back from any emotional demonstrations until they really sense the other person feels the same way (whether in romance, friendship, or simply mutual admiration).
Moon trine Uranus: At home with Astrology
Submitted by ciuboda on 1 October, 2010 - 07:49.'I believe my interest in astrology and occult subjects stems from my trines to Uranus. I think I will always have a life-long obsession with astrology. All I want to do is talk and feel excited about the cosmic design that is our astrology chart. I want to know what makes us tick? Why do events happen at certain times in my life? What is the purpose of my life?
Quintiles and Biquintiles

A quintile occurs between two planets that are 72° apart and the biquintile occurs between two planets that are 144° apart. If you keep dividing a 360° circle by multiples of five you will also find the virgintile (18°), decile (36°) and tredecile (108°).'
