Submitted by ciuboda on 13 March, 2010 - 10:41."A Triplicity means there are three Zodiac signs in each group that Trine each other, where Quadruplicity indicates there are Four Signs per group or Square each other. It is easiest to mentally like Triplicity with Trine and Quadruplicity with Square.
A Closer Look at Triplicity
Submitted by ciuboda on 13 March, 2010 - 10:13."Up to now I have used the ptolomaic triplicity rulerships without question. This has changed. The discussion on how different results may be arrived at when using different triplicity rulerships has given cause to pause and think about their usage. It raises questions about how one approaches established tradition. Does one accept unquestioned everything that has been handed down over the centuries from such authorities as Ptolomy or Dorotheus? Even if there are apparent contradictions?
Aries Ingress Report
Submitted by Julija Simas on 11 March, 2010 - 01:32.With the Sun still squaring Pluto, and now opposite Saturn, and with Uranus about to cross the boundary from Pisces to Aries, we seem to be moving from protracted crisis and forced change to unpredictable and radical developments that are bound to disrupt established order. This Ingress is a very powerful one - emphasising the need for us all to practise speaking the truth about the world by taking on a bold and truthful Arian courage.
Astrological House Rulers
Submitted by airgoddess on 9 March, 2010 - 23:16.Some of you in getting an astrology reading may have been told something about a "house ruler", or perhaps have noticed it elsewhere. Every house is ruled by one of your natal planets, and which planet it is depends on the sign on the house cusp. Each zodiac sign is ruled by a certain planet.
How to Read an Ephemeris
Submitted by airgoddess on 9 March, 2010 - 23:12.How to read an ephemeris is a crucial part of astrology and predictions; knowing how to do this allows you to see where the transit (moving) planets are in your own chart and what natal planets they're aspecting.
How to Read a Zodiac Wheel
Submitted by airgoddess on 9 March, 2010 - 23:10.Sometimes astrologers forget when teaching someone new to astrology the absolute basics required to learn. You do them so often, they become second nature, and you forget that you need to learn these things first before you start anything else. This is a totally basic exercise and shows you how to count degrees and therefore helps you find aspects and understand the zodiac wheel. If you're completely new to astrology, it's one of the first things you must learn.

Corruption in High Places
Submitted by Julija Simas on 8 March, 2010 - 03:48."As 2010 gets underway, it is possible to see the political temperature rising as governments recognise that the governed are becoming increasingly dissatisfied with the circumstances in which they are living. As Pluto inches forward to 4 degrees of Capricorn, currently approaching its second exact square from Saturn (of three), measures are being taken of a most extraordinary kind to prevent any possibility of popular control of the unfolding of public events.
Final Dispositor - what if there are two or more?
Submitted by ciuboda on 7 March, 2010 - 08:49."A dispositor is a planet that has influence over another planet. Traditionally, there are a few ways in which one planet disposits another, however the most common form of dispositorship is where the influential planet rules the sign that another planet is in.
For instance, the Moon will disposit any planet in Cancer. Here, the Moon can enforce the old parental favourite – “if you are under my roof you live by my rules!”
Following the Ruler of the 8th House to Where Transformation Begins
Submitted by AstroFix on 6 March, 2010 - 07:11."Where Transformation Begins
Ruler of the 8th house in the 1st house: My transformation begins with self-awareness. My need for transformation is subservient to my need to present a particular image of myself. I transform in an effort to become aware of the impression I give. I transform feelings of vulnerability by being involved with my own persona.
